    Frequently asked questions

    Yes. WAHU! systems retain suspended microparticles, sediment, rust and impurities and, thanks to the silver salts the filter is impregnated with, prevent bacteria from proliferating inside them. The scheduled maintenance carried out by our technicians keeps the system hygienic and the water quality consistent over time.
    Microfiltration (0.5 micron) retains microparticles, rust, mould and algae and, thanks to coconut-shell activated carbon, reduces chlorine, metals and organic compounds; the silver salts provide a bacteriostatic action. Ultrafiltration (0.15 micron) adds a hollow-fibre membrane that removes 99.99% of the bacterial load and microplastics. We supply both: together we choose the level of filtration best suited to your water.
    Maintenance is scheduled by our technicians and includes filter replacement and periodic sanitisation, so you always have safe water and an efficient system.
    We take care of the survey, installation and testing. The system connects to your existing water mains: in most cases installation is completed in just a few hours, with no invasive building work.
    You eliminate the purchase, transport, storage and disposal of bottles and water cooler tanks, with predictable, contained costs. On top of that comes a major environmental benefit: less plastic and fewer transport-related CO2 emissions.
